Last year we were lucky enough to secure a Spark Award from UnLtd and Santander UK, an award scheme set up to encourage social entrepreneurs to share knowledge and facilitate peer-to-peer support and learning.
Knowing first-hand how valuable this type of support and learning can be, we applied for a Spark Award to create Doing Things Differently – a series of workshops aimed at inspiring, encouraging and uniting aspiring social entrepreneurs in Worthing.
In response to many requests, the first of these workshops will focus on our experience of crowdfunding, a method of generating finance that is proving hugely successful in Worthing. The format will be informal – we’ll talk about our experience of crowdfunding before opening up the session to a Q&A. The sessions will last approximately an hour, with places limited to ensure participants get the most out of the session.
The workshops will be held at Baked on Tuesday 31st March at 1330 and 1830. To book a place, or if you have any questions, drop us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or give us a call (01903 216343). Refreshments will be provided.
In the meantime, you can find a little more about our crowdfunding campaign here.
