On Wednesday 16 April Baked will be taking part in Worthing & Adur Council’s Making Changes Event at the Assembly Hall, Worthing. This event is aimed at inspiring and assisting those struggling to find employment and to help them makes positive changes towards their future.
Excitedly, we will be using this event to launch our recruitment process (yep, it is time to get the ball rolling!). I’ll (Lauren) be there with the support of my little sister Katharine (Granny will be on babysitting duty that day) and we will hopefully be able to answer any questions you might have about working at Baked.
We’ll have some hard copies of job descriptions and application forms (and probably some flapjacks and marshmallows) so if you are interested in our job opportunities do come along and say hi! If you can’t make it to the event, don’t worry, all the recruitment information will go live on the website on the same day.
Alongside us, there will be a range of stalls at the event, from organisations advising and helping individuals to get into work but also those providing financial and childcare advice.
The event runs from 1000-1500 and we will be there all day. Lunch is provided and there is a guest speaker (Des McCabe). To book your place contact Abbey Ford at Abbey.Ford@adur-worthing.gov.uk.
