UKE-ADEMY Summer Course

We are really pleased to announce that ST Teaching are bringing their fantastic UKE-ADEMY to Baked for a summer course this July. Here are a few words from Sammy and Effi about what you can expect…

After a few successful (and FUN!) ukulele taster sessions at Baked, we are pleased to announce that we are putting on a summer course!

We have made the sessions and the course as accessible as possible but still have a maximum of 6 in a group to ensure all student needs are met.

The course is aimed at beginners and those with little ukulele knowledge. If you’re not a complete beginner, that’s fine, we’ll throw some slightly more advanced chords your way!

Sammy teaches all ukulele sessions and makes learning music fun through his engaging, friendly (and loud) teaching methods.  As well as being introduced to playing the ukulele, you get to meet like-minded people, learn in a relaxed environment and experience playing music as a group.

You don’t need to own a ukulele as we provide them! This 4 week course is ideal to give you a feel for the ukulele to see if you enjoy it before purchasing one for yourself.  However, if you do have one, feel free to bring it along.

We are holding kid’s sessions, which are suitable for ages 4 to 10 and adult ones for ages 16 plus. Sammy currently teaches private students between the ages of 4 and 85, proving you’re never too old to learn!

Music is great for encouraging communication, kinesthetic and social skills as well as improving creativity and self esteem. All ages can benefit from this so come along and see for yourself!

Baked is the perfect venue; providing a rustic and homely atmosphere, complete with the BEST cake and coffee ever! Both of us being small businesses, we understand and promote “shopping local” and would love it if you did too.
